Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Dakik Expeditions, we understand that plans can change, and we strive to offer flexibility to our customers while also ensuring the smooth operation of our expeditions. Please carefully review our cancellation and refund policy before booking an expedition with us:

  1. Cancellation by Participant:

   – If you need to cancel your booking for any reason, you must notify us in writing (via email or through our website) as soon as possible.

   – Cancellation fees may apply, and the amount refunded will depend on the timing of your cancellation and the specific terms of the expedition you booked.

   Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the following schedule:

     – Cancellations made 90 days or more prior to the scheduled departure date: 80% refund of the total expedition cost.

     – Cancellations made between 60 days prior to the scheduled departure date: 60% refund of the total expedition cost.

     – Cancellations made 30 days or less prior to the scheduled departure date: No refund will be provided.

  1. Cancellation by Dakik Expeditions:

In rare circumstances, Dakik Expeditions may need to cancel an expedition due to reasons such as adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, or insufficient participant numbers. If we cancel an expedition, you will be notified as soon as possible, and we will offer you the choice of rescheduling your booking for a future date or receiving a full refund of the amount paid.

  1. Force Majeure:

   – Dakik Expeditions shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these terms and conditions if such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, strikes, or government regulations.

  1. Refund Process:

   – Refunds will be processed using the original payment method used for booking.

   – Please allow 20 business days for the refund to be processed and credited back to your account. The time taken for the refund to reflect in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

  1. Partial Refunds:

   – If you are unable to participate in certain activities or segments of the expedition due to personal reasons, illness, or other factors, no partial refunds will be provided for the unused portions of the expedition.

  1. No Shows:

   – If you fail to join the expedition at the scheduled departure time without prior notification, no refund will be provided, and you will forfeit the total amount paid for the expedition.

  1. Changes to Booking:

   – Changes to your booking, such as rescheduling or transferring to a different expedition, may be subject to additional fees or charges. Please contact us to discuss any changes to your booking.
