Zanzibar Quick Facts

Zanzibar enjoys a tropical climate, from July to October are the most pleasant months because the days are dry with low humidity, perfect for the beach.

November to March is also a very nice time of the year, it is just slightly hotter. You will probably want to avoid the rainy season, between April and May.

Safari can definitely be combined with Zanzibar. We usually suggest that this be done at the beginning of your trip so you can finish the trip by relaxing. For this there are two options, the first being safaris in Southern Tanzania which are Selous National Park or Mikumi National Park or Northern Tanzania that include Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and the famous Serengeti.

If you are entering Zanzibar either domestically or internationally, a mandatory travel insurance is required. It is best to have this done prior to arrival in order to avoid complications upon arrival.

If you are coming from a Yellow fever registered country, you are required to have a yellow fever card.

Generally we work with private tours and transfers to ensure that you are comfortable and enjoying at a pace that suits you. However, if you wish to go on group tours then this can be arranged.
